About the role
We’re looking for experienced Plumbers to join our growing maintenance team.
This is a varied mobile role working across commercial and hospitality properties, carrying out reactive plumbing maintenance, fault finding, repairs and small works.
You’ll work independently across customer sites, supported by our operational team and specialist trades when required. We’re looking for someone who can properly investigate problems, identify the cause and deliver a reliable repair rather than simply treating the symptom.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out reactive plumbing maintenance and repairs.
- Diagnosing faults, leaks and water-system issues.
- Repairing and replacing taps, toilets, valves, pipework and sanitary fittings.
- Carrying out minor installations and alterations.
- Investigating recurring problems and identifying appropriate solutions.
- Completing planned and preventative maintenance where required.
- Identifying when additional or specialist works are necessary.
- Completing accurate job notes, photographs and records.
- Keeping customers and site teams informed throughout works.
- Ensuring work areas are left clean, tidy and safe.
- Working in accordance with company health & safety procedures.
- Representing Hi-Tech professionally on customer sites.
About You
We’re looking for an experienced plumber who is comfortable working independently in a mobile maintenance environment.
You’ll ideally have:
- Relevant plumbing qualifications and/or substantial practical experience.
- Experience in commercial plumbing and property maintenance.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of domestic and commercial water systems.
- The ability to diagnose problems and determine the appropriate repair.
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
- A professional approach when working in occupied premises.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to organise and manage your own workload.
- A full UK driving licence.
