About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Inspection & Testing Electrician to join our growing electrical team.

This is a mobile role focused primarily on electrical inspection, testing and certification across commercial and hospitality properties, alongside fault finding and associated remedial works.

You’ll be responsible for completing high-quality electrical inspections, accurately identifying and coding defects, producing compliant certification and helping our customers understand the condition of their electrical installations.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
  • Completing periodic inspection and testing of commercial electrical installations.
  • Accurately identifying, assessing and coding electrical defects.
  • Producing clear and accurate electrical certification.
  • Carrying out fault finding and diagnostic works.
  • Completing remedial works identified through inspection and testing.
  • Verifying installations and remedial works against current regulations.
  • Completing accurate job notes, photographs and supporting documentation.
  • Working safely and in accordance with company procedures.

About You

We’re looking for an experienced electrician with a strong background in electrical inspection and testing.

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification, or equivalent.
  • Strong experience completing EICRs and electrical certification.
  • Excellent knowledge of BS 7671 and current electrical regulations.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Commercial electrical experience.
  • A full UK driving licence.
