The Trout at Tadpole Bridge uses a large marquee for celebrations, but the structure offered little soundproofing and complaints reached the Environment Agency.
Hi-Tech attended a site meeting with the client and the agency to agree a proportionate technical solution.
The agreed approach was a noise leveller that monitored sound levels and interrupted music equipment if the pre-agreed 90 dB threshold was exceeded.

A traffic-light warning system was also installed inside the marquee so DJs and guests had a visible warning before the cut-off point was reached.
The warning lights were hidden among decorative vines around the structural beams, keeping the installation visually unobtrusive.
