About the role
Hi-Tech Property Services is recruiting an experienced Multi-Trade Carpenter to join our Projects Team.
This is a project-based role delivering planned refurbishments, alterations and fit-outs across commercial and hospitality premises. You will work as part of a project delivery team, taking ownership of high-quality carpentry and associated building works from initial strip-out through to final finishes.
This position is within our Projects Team, rather than our reactive maintenance division.
Responsibilities
- Carry out first- and second-fix carpentry, including doors, frames, skirting, partitions, joinery and finishing works.
- Support planned refurbishment, fit-out and construction projects from preparation through to completion.
- Undertake complementary multi-trade tasks such as basic plastering, decorating, making good and general building work within your competence.
- Read drawings, follow specifications and coordinate with site supervisors and other trades.
- Maintain excellent workmanship, safe working practices and tidy sites.
- Identify issues early and communicate progress, materials and programme requirements to the project team.
About You
- Strong practical carpentry experience, ideally across commercial refurbishment or construction projects.
- Confident in first- and second-fix carpentry with additional multi-trade skills.
- Experience working to drawings, specifications and project deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and alongside other trades while maintaining a high standard of finish.
- Good understanding of site health and safety.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Relevant trade qualifications and CSCS card are advantageous.
